ROCHDALE COLOURSCAPE WEEKEND

Eye Music Trust presents Colourscape with Music and Dance at the new Town Hall Events Space.

Come into the intense COLOUR AND LIGHT of Colourscape and experience music created on unusual instruments. Wander through extraordinary views of radiant colour and discover musicians and dancers.

This event is part of our 2025 TOUR - Symphony of Connections
Musicians Ansuman Biswas, Sylvia Hallett, Hyelim Lim and Michael Ormiston create a unique journey of the elements of Air, Earth and Water with unusual instruments including Tibetan Singing Bowls, amplified bicycle wheel and waterphones. Computer musician Lawrence Casserley creates new sounds from the instruments. And dancers from BitterSuite Company create Connections between sound, touch, space and colour
This event will take place in the newly restored historic Town Hall with its new magnificent outdoor Event Space. Colourscape will fill the Event Square with colour and light.
AND after your Colourscape visit enter the Town Hall for our Colour/Music Sensory installation where you can create your own music and colour with laser movement sensors. This extra event is FREE.
