Colourscape in Corby

Saturday/Sunday July 21st/22nd

Eye Music Trust presents SYMPHONY OF THE SENSES at the GROW festival, Corby

Our new Touring show features all the senses. Come into the intense COLOUR AND LIGHT of Colourscape and hear music that represents the musical SOUNDS of the human body. Our dancer plays TOUCH-Surfaces and releases FRAGRANCES and TASTES into the flowing air within Colourscape. This show is funded by the Arts Council Strategic Touring Fund and has been created by composers Simon Desorgher, Lawrence Casserley, David Stevens and Michael Ormiston. With movement and fragrances created by dancer Lisa Welham and theatrical performer Francisca Picon Asensio

Saturday July 29th at 12 noon to 5.00pm Colourscape is installed in the park near Westcott Way. SYMPHONY OF THE SENSES plays from 12 to 4pm

Sunday July 30th at 12 to 4pm Colourscape moves to the Oasis Car ParkMusic by composers Michael Ormiston and David Stevens. Come and learn how to play Tibetan Singing Bowls - create music with your family on a huge range of instruments - play infra-red movement sensors and a touch-sensitive "painting". For all ages from babies to 100 year-olds!

LOCATION: Saturday: The Park near the Boating Lake, Cottingham Rd, Corby NN17 2UR

LOCATION: Sunday: Oasis Car Park, Everest Ln, Corby NN17 1PS

TIMES: Saturday July 21st from 11.30am to 5.30pm. Sunday July 22nd from 12 to 4pm
