bringing contemporary music and arts to the widest possible audience
August Bank Holiday weekend August 26th to 28th
Part of Stroud Fringe Festival - 3rd year
We bring Colourscape back to Stroud by popular demand. Last year visitors to Colourscape in Stratford Park were treated to a visual and aural treat - a walk-in environment of colour and light with musicians and dancers.
Each day Colourscape will be open from 12 to 5pm; music and dance plays inside from 12.30 to 4.30pm.
Saturday August 26th - Chinese percussion with Beibei Wang.
Sunday August 27th - Sylvia Hallett plays bicycles and other instruments, PLUS local musician Mike Adcock
Monday August 28th - Flutes of the World. Ethnic flute player Clive Bell performs on instruments ranging from chinese flutes to japanese shakuhachi. Simon Desorgher performs on the full range of concert flutes, and Julian Elvira performs on the giant contrabass flute.
