The Performers

Over the years we have presented many performances including: new Gamelan works; recorder ensembles; improvising brass quartet and dance; large-scale music-theatre works; many electroacoustic works; string quartets; piano and ensemble; percussion ensembles; saxophone ensembles; massed Ukuleles; massed flute choirs; choirs; Tibetan Singing Bowls; didgeridoo; harp; guitar and electronics; invented instruments and others.

The performers that are the most successful in Colourscape are those that interact with the public – performances that can move in the space amongst the public – performances that create new spaces and sounds. Many new collaborations and partnerships have formed through the inspiration of Colourscape events, and our annual commissioning process has created many unique and ground-breaking works.
